KAMAV (Gypsy Song) is a passionate and emotional musical journey inspired by the spirit and romance of Romani culture. Blending Greek and Romani lyrics, the song tells the story of a captivating gaze, irresistible attraction, and the powerful emotions that arise when the heart begins to surrender to love.

The title “Kamav”, which means “I want” in Romani, perfectly captures the essence of the song: desire, longing, and the courage to express one’s feelings. With its melodic atmosphere, vibrant rhythms, and heartfelt lyrics, KAMAV invites listeners into a world of fire, music, and romance.

History Of The Song

The song was originally written in September 2025, with both lyrics and music composed in Greek. Its working title was inspired by the memorable pre-chorus hook:

“Mi Mi Mi Mi Mi”

At that stage, the song existed entirely in Greek and revolved around the hypnotic repetition of the phrase “Μη, μη, μη…” (“No, no, no…”), which became one of its defining musical elements.

In early 2026, Romani lyrics were added to the chorus, introducing the word “Kamav” and giving the song a stronger Romani identity. This creative evolution transformed the project into a unique blend of Greek and Romani musical influences.

KAMAV (Gypsy Song) was officially released on February 7, 2026, marking the culmination of a creative journey that brought together two languages, two cultures, and a shared expression of love through music.
